Eero Saarinen's Tulip Table places a round or oval top on a single pedestal, keeping the area beneath the table visually clear.

One central support

Saarinen developed a pedestal furniture family for Knoll. The table's narrow stem broadens towards the floor, replacing four separate legs with a single sculptural support.

Two parts, different materials

The top and pedestal are separate components despite the flowing profile. Laminate, timber or stone changes the character of a particular version. Check material and care requirements for the exact model.

Choose chairs as a group

Tulip chairs continue the curved language; wooden or woven chairs add another texture. Check seat height, arm clearance and the relationship between chair legs and the pedestal.
