Bellini created Camaleonda for B&B Italia. The 2020 reissue carries the modular idea into a revised material construction, so vintage and newer examples deserve separate consideration.

Build a layout from modules

Seat, back and arm elements join through a connecting system. Deep upholstery divisions make each unit legible. An open seating island needs a different plan from a sofa arranged against a wall.

Test the footprint first

Mark out the modules you want on the floor, including access routes and space for a table. Try the low seat before buying. A quiet fabric emphasises the padded form; stronger colour turns the whole arrangement into a focal point.
